Imo rot index table

Imoberdorf offers two types of machine bases and two
types of index tables.  One base is primatic with units
mounted in discrete locations as shown to the right.  The
other base is circular where units can be mounted in any
position around the circle.  They offer two types of tables.
One is conventional which has the workholding devices
mounted to the table which are customarily chucks or
collets and may face out or up.  The second type is a sort
of pallet transfer with zero point clamping elements.  With
the second type it is possible to have the imo-rot system
installed which permits work rotation turning.  With imo
rot, the workholders face up.  imo-rot may be installed in
individual stations as needed.  The imo rot system may
also be used to index the part for cross machining at the
required orientation.  Other systems including imo-sat
may be used for this indexing operation which may be
carried out on both types of tables.
